I conduct thorough assessments of potential carers in India. I assess their ability to provide a stable and nurturing home for children subject to care proceedings in the UK.
I speak, read and write Gujarati and Hindi, which allows me to connect directly with families and understand their cultural context.
Why cultural knowledge matters
Before moving to the UK, I spent three years working for an NGO in India as a Project Manager. I understand family structures, expectations and support networks in India, and I can explain them clearly to a UK court.
This helps the court weigh up a placement abroad fairly, without misreading cultural differences as concerns or overlooking risks.
Discussing an international assessment
International work needs careful planning around the court timetable. Please get in touch early to discuss the family’s circumstances, the location and what the court needs.
