Do I need a solicitor to contact you?
No. Many parents contact me directly about Section 7 reports and family support. Solicitors and local authorities usually instruct me for parenting, special guardianship and international assessments.
Which languages can you work in?
English, Gujarati and Hindi. I speak, read and write Gujarati and Hindi, so assessments and family support can take place in the family’s own language.
Which areas do you cover?
I mainly work for families and local authorities in and around London. I also carry out assessments of potential carers in India for UK care proceedings. Please get in touch to discuss work elsewhere.
How much does an assessment cost?
It depends on the type of assessment, how many people are involved and any travel. I give a written fee estimate before any work begins.
Are you registered and insured?
Yes. I am registered with Social Work England, hold a current DBS check and have full professional insurance.
